Kristina joined our team as a Veterinary Assistant in June 2024. She has lived in Arizona for 22 years after moving here from Washington State as a kid. Minus 2 years she spent in Oregon straying to escape the desert heat.

Kristina has been involved in the animal care field ever since she was 8 years old going to work with her mom to clean kennels and feed the shelter animals. She comes to us with 10 years of experience including shelter medicine, emergency large animal medicine and working as a pet nutrition specialist.

In her free time she enjoys playing video games with her fiance, painting, drawing, crocheting, and hiking with her two cats Hades and Lilith.
