Salinda is originally from the Pacific Northwest where she grew up in Washington state. Her love for animals began as a young girl spending summers with her Dad in Colorado on the family farm, riding horses and chasing cattle. 

She moved to Arizona in 2021 to chase the sunshine and escape the rain. After years of working in sales, management and client services, her childhood dream came true with an opportunity to join the vet world and express her unwavering love for animals through her work. 

Her jungle is shared with her husband and two children, her two cats Mister and Raja, her chihuahua Bella, her bearded dragon Rexter, and leopard gecko Enzo. She not only loves all animals but has a serious collection and love for houseplants. She enjoys spending her free-time with her family fishing, camping, collecting rocks, exploring, cooking, traveling and still visiting her family farm in Colorado.
